Selling SE'D items on personal eBay? - divinegrace99 - 06-04-2021

I'm talking like Bose Sleepbuds. Robot vacuums. Fit bits. And smaller items. Am I alright to just sell it on my personal accounts? Obviously I wouldn't include the serial numbers in my pics

Were the Items SEd on your real account?

If so and the buyer decides to put In a warranty claim (or connect to a given service), the company will Identify that It's a previous claim and possibly link It to yourself via the details on the serial number.

As long as the Item's serial, IMEI etc Is not linked to you on a personal level, then you're good to go.

This is always in my mind when I sell them.

If I do an se on my personal amazon account then sell it on a burner eBay/ Facebook etc account.

The person that purchased it could still put in a claim and it could then get linked back to my original purchased account.

But there’s also, if you DNA an item or FTID an item, then you can simply shrug it off as “I didn’t receive it in the first place” or “I sent it back already” and your original se should back it up - So you’re kinda covered in that aspect too.
