[HELP] Refund Clothing - Enjeve - 05-30-2021

Hello,

I recently ordered clothes from a store. The package arrived at the specified time, but the delivery person left it outside the house because I was not there. In the details of the tracking number it is stated that the package was handed over to someone else present (which was not the case) and that the deliverer himself (!) signed it! He also left a note in the mailbox, where the package can be found. The package was delivered 3 days ago.

How should I proceed? My goal is a refund.

Thanks for all replies!

DNA (obviously)

You can just say you got home now and found the letter, when you went to collect your package, it wasn’t there.

Since you never personally signed for it or like you say no one you know signed or accepted it, it’s an easy dna.

As mentioned above, the DNA method Is Ideal.

Be sure to keep the note written by the driver and If need be, use It as evidence to support your claim.

I've got an reply:

After my first mail (where I didn't say that I want a refund, but only asked how it goes on now), they answered the following:
- "In this case, we will start investigations internally and in the delivery company."
- "Using the video documentation that includes the shipping process, we will certainly find out what happened to your package."
- "Please remember that you are legally binding with your signature that you only received the package with one article." (<- I only ordered one tho, but "I didn't" got the package (DNA))

The email also contains a PDF that I should sign. The document is structured as follows:
Explanation of the recipient for the following package:

Package ID, by whom & to whom, content

As receiver:
My name, Address, Phone

I explain this:
The above-mentioned package I have: (A: Received, B: Not Received, C: About the whereabouts is not known to me)

In addition, my signature in the PDF is legally binding and in case of false statement can meet criminal consequences on me.

How should I proceed here? I am superior if I simply "Oh, my bad, I just found the package", then specify that the clothes have the wrong size and resend them normally to get my money back. Any advice would be great!

Quote:"Please remember that you are legally binding with your signature that you only received the package with one article."
You're claiming that you didn't receive the package, so this doesn't relate to your claim.

Ask them to elaborate on what they're referring to.

Quote:He also left a note in the mailbox, where the package can be found.
The above clearly demonstrates that the package was left unattended at your premises. This solidifies your SE, regardless of whether they try and state otherwise.

Take a copy, email It, and ask them to explain the driver's actions- namely why he decided to dump the package and leave thereafter.

Thanks for the quick reply! So I don't have to fill out the PDF at all?
Also, I forgot to mention that on the card the driver left here, it says: "A package in the cabinet in the carport" and the date of the delivery.

Does the statement "in the cabinet" make things more complicated? Since yes, "actually" no package thief is making the effort to look into the cabinets.
