trying to get a delivery status changed on wayfair but they are asking for a picture of the item to change it what should i do

I tried to buy the item, it was delivered, i waited for the item to be marked as delivered so that i could start SE. The item was never marked as delivered so went to live chat to request it be changed, they said it would and it never did (happened twice). 3rd time trying am told that i need to provide a picture for them to change the delivery status and that if i dont provide a picture they arent going to change it

Given the package was physically delivered but their records didn't mark It as such, they've basically DNA'd themselves.

The courier took a picture of the item being delivered and they use their own courier service so how they dont actually have a picture baffles me they're just saying they need another in order to change the delivery status of the item its pretty big

If you feel the normal 'damaged item' refund method will be more successful then a DNA, then simply send them over a picture of your item so they can mark the item as delivered.
In my opinion however you should do DNA. If they reject your claim, wait a couple of days and then try the item damaged method.

i've sent the picture off i will let you know how the rest of the SE goes
