Would Amazon block the IMEI on an Apple Watch? - sadler223 - 04-01-2021

This is something I've been wondering recently. I said the watch face wasn't in the box and they refunded me, but are they likely to report the IMEI as lost or smth? Do they even have that power/care enough?

Ps. if I create an Amazon.de account or .it etc, are they linked to other systems? Will my orders or name come up when they search their system?

thx

No, they wont. This message is typed from arms wearing the same type of watch from the same store received in the same way… ;-)

They do have the power to place the IMEI In a pool of blacklisted numbers.

Whether they will, Is at their discretion.

Accounts are generally not country-specific.

Many users have reported their accounts being linked In different regions.

I might give it a few days and switch it on and see what happens. How would I know whether it's been put in the pool?

You won't until you begin using It, by connecting to Its/other services.

I waited two weeks after the refund. Just ‘to be sure’. Never had any issues so far, I have mine since november.
