Amazon DNA success??? - Toxicpilot - 03-31-2021
This is my first post here. I just got refunded 1388 from Amazon for DNA method. Had a solid account about two years old with orders going like crazy. Had one DNA for about 100 dollars a few months back that was refunded no questions asked. Tried this method and had to file police report. Got copy of police report today and got refunded. But my dumb ass didn't think about it I'm on probation for basically larceny (nothing to do with mail or shipping. Used to boost video games from target and turn around and sell them. Basically I got greedy and hit like three stores in a row. Got stopped inside the store and had nothing on me. I listened to the police scanner on my phone app and knew they were on to me so I ditched the shit I had on me... ended up still going to jail and beat a felony charge but still caught a misdemeanor. I filed to police report and the detective seemed nice and helpful and even emailed me the report.. after she wanted to come personally deliver it to me but I told her I wouldn't be home until after five. Thankfully her hours didn't match up with mine so thats why she emailed. The police report stated that the case was inactive. Can they reopen the case? Am I looking into this to hard? Amazong left the package on the front steps and left. No knock no signature no nothing. Am I being paranoid or overthinking this. Should I stash the product at a friend's house for a while until this all dies down? Any advice is helpful.

They've basically DNA'd themselves.
The detective spoke to me over the phone and said that there wasn't a lot they could do with these situations and suggested I get a home camera. But she was also rather chatty and seemed to be asking about of questions but none seemed to be related to the case at all. I also just noticed that it says on the police report that the model and S/n are unknown. I mean it is what I sent amazon so I would think it is official. But at the same time I don't want it to come back and bite me in the ass. I'm thinking hard about doing a serial number swap with the same model from best buy and just return the one from Amazon to best buy with the swapped serial numbers as the numbers are just stickers. And I highly doubt they would go thru the process of putting goggles on their face to check for the electronic serial.

Amazon has already issued refund but my worry is that Amazon and the detective from the sheriffs department may be still trying to solve the case and thinking that it is me due to my record. Because I'm sure if the entered my name into the system my record pops up. Which has multiple larceny charges. Basically if I get hit with larceny again I will be habitual and go bye bye for a good while. I didn't realize that it would be a larceny type thing as I never put two and two together. But I'm all in at this point. Just going to keep it low key for a while and fingers crossed it blows over. Because really what kind of criminal calls the cops on himself.

Your right i should have thought about it before hand. But I didn't. I for some reason didn't connect the Amazon DNA as larceny. Maybe fraud or even embezzlement of some sort. Which is even worse than larceny. I think I am being paranoid as I'm looking more into the details. And its my first big se. I have a rather outstanding account with Amazon and feel like they wouldn't look to much more into it and since I noticed that the police report is rather vague about everything I think I will be ok.
