Compendium of SEable Stores - Seriium - 03-05-2021

Don't think there's anything like this on the forum so I decided to make a thread about it.
This serves as a place to contribute experiences with stores as well as with couriers and companies in general that you've SE'd from. Feel free to contribute any and all information you deem helpful, I'll add a few after posting. Places like amazon, dell, etc are mostly common knowledge and posted regularly, So please refrain from posting such stores unless you had an unusual experience or something similar, Although you may contribute such things as;
Packaging updates
Anti-SE tactics
SE countermeasures
etc, From the aforementioned companies, As these may not have been experienced before and may be critical to another members SE attempt, Asking questions and sharing resources is extremely encouraged and there are many, many more experienced people than me that are happy to help.

Company: Pofung-Baofeng, (PO FUNG ELECTRONIC(HK) INTERNATIOANL GROUP COMPANY)
Date: 16/02/2021
Ordered a Radio directly from Baofeng in china, After arriving I waited approx 1 day and emailed Baofeng product support claiming I hadn't received my package, After asking a few generic questions, (Did you check around your property, Did you ask your neighbors, Did you ask your family, etc) They apologized profusely and sent a replacement, Along with some free extras and a discount code for my next purchase. On top of that it was sent via priority mail.

Overall very satisfied with the SE-ability of Baofeng, Although I might make a legitimate purchase next time as their products are so far very good quality.

Company: mmjdirect
Product: 2oz of Psyilocybin Cubensis and 1 oz of Marijuana
date: 01/23/2021
Package was delivered successfully. Upon waiting the 5 days for a Canada post Package trace, The result was still "Successfully delivered". They refused to send me a replacement or a refund, Upon filing a "Police report" and a lengthy phone call and email thread, They apologized for the inconvenience and sent a replacement post haste. I proceeded to flip a total of 4 oz of PC and 2 oz of Marijuana for massive profits. All in all successful, Yet I would not recommend.

Update:
Company: Bombingscience
Date: 03-17-2021
Purchased some stuff legitimately as I actually want to support the company, But upon arrival I was missing 2 items and a marker was leaking, Put in a support ticket, took awhile to get back to me (2-3 days) and immediately the support rep asked if I'd like the items value refunded to my account, I obliged and the refund is being processed right now. Good info and a good sign of an SEable company

Sephora Canada. Method: DNA
Dyson Supersonic hair dryer ($600 CAD). Ordered right during the holidays. Sephora have been using Fleet Optics as a carrier, which are notoriously bad. Called their CS line to say it never arrived. Refunded on the spot. Easiest DNA so far.

H&M Canada. Method: missing item (partial)
Ordered several items from H&M Home division ($150 CAD). Called the CS line and said three items (same SKU, qty 3) were not in the box with the rest of the order. Refunded the amount of the missing items on the spot.

Mott&Bow. Method: DNA
Premium jeans ($180 CAD). Emailed them with DNA story, they double checked with Canada Post and would not budge. I let this one go cause their jeans are great and it wasn't worth the energy.

Apple Canada. Method: boxing
Send them a request to repair my HomePod Mini with serial # and POP. They sent me a prepaid Fedex box that I returned empty, using their sealing tape, then cutting it and replacing it with transparent tape. Weight registered as 1lb, which is what a HomePod Mini + packaging would weight. They contacted me saying the box they received was empty. A manager took care of the case and sent me a new HomePod for free. Investigation took about a week. I would not try my luck with anything that could be remotely located or bricked (like an iPad, iPhone or Mac) though.

Eufy. Method: warranty replacement
Baby camera and monitor through Amazon ($180 CAD). Contacted manuf directly. Sent pics of "battery leakage" (easy to emulate with sodium bicarbonate) and said I had to dispoe of the faulty item. They sent a replacement immediately. I then returned the replacement to Amazon in the first box. Monitor and service customer are both excellent.

Maui Jim Canada. Method: DNA
Sunglasses ($200 CAD). Simple DNA worked when calling their CS line. They checked with Fedex and refunded without asking anything else after three days. Great customer service.

Saks Fifth Ave US. Method: Fake return
Bought a stroller ($800CAD). Contacted Saks to say it was damaged in transport, with proof. Saks told me to return it to their warehouse. Opened a case with Paypal. Paypal told me to return it to a building in Manhattan, with no indication of floor or suite. I send a promotional envelope to the address and gave them the tracking number. The envelope was never delivered because the address provided by Paypal was -- you guessed it -- incomplete. Refund took about 40 days. Paypal also refunded me the return shipping costs a week later after I provided proof and insisted a lot.

Good tip.

Adding to It, hit YouTube using the keywords "unboxing (Item name)". Obviously replace the "Item name" with the one In question. You'd be amazed at how many users neglect to conceal the serial number when unpacking the contents.
