"Hollyboob" Vandalism, 6 Arrested - Oni - 02-03-2021
The Hollywood sign has a history of being altered. The last notable incident was a couple years ago.

Los Angeles Police Captain Steve Lurie confirmed the incident in a tweet Monday evening.
Six individuals were arrested for the stunt, which was reportedly intended to raise awareness of breast cancer, an LAPD captain told NBC Los Angeles.
Spokespeople for the Los Angeles Police Department did not immediately respond to NBC News requests for comment.

People getting arrested for this is the stupidest thing ever. I really liked when someone made the sign say "hollyweed". that was a classic.

I linked an article about the incident you're referring to. In my opinion, it's not vandalism unless something is actually damaged. Typically the "vandals" will use tarps or banners, which can be easily removed.

From my perspective, It reads "Hollybood".
