iPhone 12 Pro Max Refund - Izady - 01-15-2021

Hi guys,

I have just ordered the new IPhone 12 Pro Max on Amazon - I just wanted to see any potential ideas I could use to guarantee a successful SE!

I did DNA on a £700 monitor some weeks ago, so I was thinking DNA would be the best way to go! I also have a few broken iPhones, which I could potentially replace in the box and send back as a faulty item. I’m not too sure which will be the best method to use!

It's not good practice to use the same method In succession, particularly In close timing.

The probability of a package not making Its way to the correct destination twice In a row within a few weeks from the same company/carrier, Is highly unlikely and may raise suspicion. I'm not suggesting the DNA won't work, but rather stating the possible events and outcome.

In that case, you can use the sealed box method.

As such and as opposed to the faulty Item method, It will not give the company reason to check your return.

DNA was used on a completely different Amazon account, with a different address and name! Hence why I have my hopes high for this method, as the account is also aged with hundreds of standing orders!

How did the monitor DNA work? did you personally accept the package? no OTP or signature?

It was actually really simple, a signature was asked for, however the rep didn’t ask any questions! Make a little sob story, it was just before Christmas so I claimed it was a Christmas gift for someone, and they happily refunded me

Hi, my package arrived yesterday and I am still yet to call - they requested OTP for delivery, therefore DNA I out of the window.. I can do missing item in package or replace the device with an iPhone 5S. The only issue is, if the refund does fail for any reason, how do I return the device without the box? If the box is with Amazon with my broke device inside! And are the chances of this method succeeding high?

you can do an indirect SE you can call apple saying your new phone you got the battery was leaking asking for a replacement they will ask you to send a picture and just say you disposed of it and you saved the box for the serial number.

Are you referring to the similar Item method?

Stating the obvious, ask them to send It back.

You paid for It, hence It's your box and not theirs.

Update on this - I received an email from a rep this morning stating that she would love to offer me a replacement and refund however to proceed with my claim a police report would have to be filled. This has been done, and now I am awaiting a response! I am also calling them a few times a day just so that they are aware of the stress this is causing me! Fingers crossed, the next form of contact would be in regards to my refund
