What does a QR code show when scanned? - Rednaxela1 - 01-12-2021

If a company states a parcel is sent via a non tracked service but has a QR code, does this show a GPS location? It's a Royal Mail 24 parcel, the company states in their terms that all items are fully insured. Would i win a chargeback if the company refused to refund?

Thanks in advance

The consignment/shipping details- sender & receiver, whether It's a box or parcel etc.

If the Items are Insured, then they'll compensate for loss of goods or damaged Items.

Thanks for the reply. Does the QR code not show anything regarding the delivery?

As stated above, that's what I mean by "shipping details".

Without naming specifics, when we scan barcodes at work and they fail to register the consignment, we use the QR code and If that fails, the tracking number Is manually entered Into the system which provides the delivery Information.

Thanks. I just find it strange that the company states that it's an untracked service. Is it an easy DNA with just a QR code as the evidence?

Likewise.

The QR code Is not there for good looks- It serves a purpose, namely the delivery Information when scanned.

Yes, you can DNA It.

As with tracking, It will mark the package as delivered to the correct address, but It doesn't conclude that yourself or a household member personally received/accepted It. An example Is when someone sends "registered mail with tracking" via a given postal service, and you live In an apartment complex with 30 other residents. The postman delivers It to the correct address, but puts the letter In the wrong mailbox by mistake. Tracking shows It's delivered, however you did not personally receive It- and that's based on legit grounds.

The DNA Is no different.
