How does one obtain the prestige rank, and does it have a purpose?

Thanks for your interest in Prestige. It's actually a very exclusive group, with select members who were handpicked by staff. Members of this group are usually people who have been on this board for years, or even previous staff team members. It's not really something you can apply for, or earn per se.

Oh bless you. That's a nice suggestion, though I think the need has been filled in other ways. We also have a legends award for our super super old members. Feel free to have a look at our awards list. You can see a couple awards on there for old members who were upgraded before our upgrade system overhaul too xD

As @Jiggly said, it's more an indicator for people that are part of my special council. These people are generally ex-staff, real life friends, or people I respect but would not select for staff. I normally consult with them on big decisions where I need input. Unlike staff, it's purely given by selection and there is no criteria. There's no rewards for being in it, either.
