Question About Banks - Brendaddy - 12-30-2020

Would a bank look at your transaction history and see suspicious activity and would they contact the police if so what would cause them to look and how could I prevent it

RE: Question About Banks - mothered - 12-30-2020

Generally speaking, banks have automated transaction monitoring to Identify money laundering and other forms of fraudulent activity.

It's beyond the scope of this post to recommend how to protect transactions. Put simply, be smart and not greedy with your social engineering behavior.

I would suggest to divide your "suspicious transaction" on multiple bank account if possible, if you don't already own some open transferwise or revolut account in addition with traditional account

RE: Question About Banks - Green314 - 12-30-2020

Split the money. Big amounts are suspicious, smart amounts are ordinary.
Alternatively invest some time in learning the world around the cryptocurrencies.

Particularly many consecutive transactions.

Variation will help keep the account In good standing.

This x2
Your own bank.
Revolut
Monzo
PayPal

One transaction on each and I cycle through them. I do one (1) SE at a time and when I get my refund is when I move on to the next se. That could take one week or one month depending on the company

Cryptocurrency for everything.

RE: Question About Banks - DragonyCat - 12-30-2020

Bank, Revolut, Crypto are my ways to go.

RE: Question About Banks - mothered - 12-31-2020

From a company standpoint, every SE Is considered a legit claim.

If you treat It as such by manipulating It without raising suspicion, It will not have a negative Impact on your payment system. It's no different to making consecutive legit purchases and claiming refunds/replacements- within reason.

When you guys say crypto - Do you mean companies that accept cryptocurrency or banks that have a platform in which you could in theory keep all sources of funding from crypto via buying/selling (Such as Revolut).

I wonder how difficult it is to open a fraudelent Revolut account with fake info.
