Your Cinebench R20 Score - Drako - 12-04-2020
As of late I've been running Cinebench R20 quite a bit. I'm not sure why, but it's always nice to know you have a mild computational advantage over another person. And I thought it would be even funner to see everyone elses scores here.
Current highscore: 3659
I'll list my current relevant specs below:
CPU - Ryzen 5 3600 (Base 3.6Ghz, Boost 4.2Ghz)
RAM - Corsair LPX 2x4 (3000Mhz, 1T, 14-16-16-16-32, Gear Down Mode = Disabled)
MOBO - ASUS B450-F Strix (Latest BIOS)
GPU - GTX 1070 (Current Drivers = 457.30)
I improved my original highscore slightly by going into my BIOS and disabling USB and SATA ports that weren't in use. You can also gain a slight edge by dragging your Cinebench window to the edge of your screen, to where the actual box that you can see what's being rendered is no longer visible on-screen. You should also make sure no uneccesary programs are running, e.g., launchers, documents, browsers, or anything of that nature. And lastly to make sure everything is in order you should go to Task Manager > Performance and see if there is any CPU or disk activity. If there's any disk activity on either that indicates there is some sort of process that will bog down your final Cinebench result. If you've just booted up you may want to wait a few minutes for Windows to idle.
That's most of the tricks I use for boosting my score. I do a few other minor tweaks in the BIOS as well. If anyone wants to know those I'll list them in a reply.

Motherboard: ASUS Maximus IX Formula
GPU: Nvidia Titan XP Collector's Edition

CPU is the weakest link. Waiting to see what Rocket/Alder Lake offer and I might swap.
