SE Method for graphics card? - subliminal1284 - 11-30-2020

Was going to try to SE engineer a graphics card aprox $1600 value. From my reading on here it would seem that it is getting more difficult to successfully pull off a DNA on something of that value, would the box method be best? If so are there any tutorials on resealing the box, how do you deal with making the shrink wrap looked untouched?

The DNA Is a carrier-based method, so It depends on how their delivery process Is structured.

For Instance, whether a signature Is required, any photos taken of the home's entryway or Is the package simply left at the doorstep. The latter Is highly unlikely for an Item of the aforementioned value, but It does happen from time to time.

You're referring to the "sealed box method".

Please provide the exact make & model of the GPU, In particular, the nature of the packaging.

Nvidia 3080, I haven’t seen the boxing in person yet but I think it’s safe to assume the exterior packaging is shrink wrapped and may have security stickers on the box itself to show if it’s been opened.

I am already planning on buying shrink wrap material to redo the shrink wrapping, unless there’s a method of removing and saving it intact and putting my old card back in the box or just putting dry ice in.

all you technically have to do is fool the person who handles the process, try go for a test run with a cheaper item.

If you're planning to use the sealed box method, the objective Is for the company to place It back In stock without checking Its contents.

As long as the weight matches, It doesn't matter what Item you place Inside.
