exif data question - Raccoon - 11-28-2020 If you can be identified by the exif data on your pictures, isn't removing the exif data a way to get you identified as well, since most of the people don't do that and be suspicious, since you purposely remove that kind of data? For example if I have multiple accounts on a website and don't want those to be linked, uploading pictures removing the exif data isn't a feature more unique than just leaving the exif data of my phone camera? RE: exif data question - Green314 - 11-28-2020 If an image doesn't have any exif information doesn't mean that you deliberately removed them, could be due to phone's settings, OS, app used for taking the photo and so on and so forth. Anyway take in account that you could also alter/manipolate that data. The problem with altering the data is that may be a lenghty and tedious process if you have to manage multiple accounts, but I guess is the only solution RE: exif data question - mothered - 11-28-2020 Quote:For example if I have multiple accounts on a website and don't want those to be linked, uploading pictures removing the exif data isn't a feature more unique than just leaving the exif data of my phone camera?Solely relating to this, replace the exif data with details that are not relevant to you In any way, shape or form. As such, It appears as though It's untouched and most Importantly, not linked to you.
