Amazon - Legit Return Question - superkiff - 11-25-2020 Hi I have a question about returning an item on Amazon. I was using a refunder on a product, but after an investigation, Amazon have requested I sign an affidavit, something I don't want to do. I have decided I don't want to go ahead with the refund now and have informed the refunder. So, my question is can I return the item to Amazon? Do I need to inform customer services before doing so? Thanks in advance for your support. RE: Amazon - Legit Return Question - ElieMK - 11-25-2020 Can I ask out of interest what the product was or how much the total is? You don't really need to speak with them. Talking will funnily enough draw more unwanted attention, and you don't want that. Amazon has been tricky lately. RE: Amazon - Legit Return Question - Hueloip - 11-25-2020 Hey, just send a corrupted file, using various corrupt file sites out there. I've never signed one yet been asked multiple times, always worked RE: Amazon - Legit Return Question - superkiff - 11-25-2020 (11-25-2020, 07:39 PM)ElieMK Wrote: Can I ask out of interest what the product was or how much the total is? Is it not a bit odd to return without explanation? (11-25-2020, 08:54 PM)Hueloip Wrote: Hey, just send a corrupted file, using various corrupt file sites out there. I'm doing a £900 order but amazon does not require the delivery to be signed for. In terms of returning. If you doing on the website then its all automated. The people scanning it at their end won't have access to your chat records with the agents. As far as they concerned, they check the item matches the scan and process the refund. That's as far as my knowledge goes. RE: Amazon - Legit Return Question - superkiff - 11-25-2020 (11-25-2020, 10:02 PM)ElieMK Wrote: Did you have to sign for the package when amazon delivered it? I received a OTP (one time password) which I had to relay to the driver. I think this is a new thing they are doing on expensive items. Yes that's true, but my order doesn't require signature or otp. I had to remove an from my basket because that would make my delivery signed for. My most expensive item was £210 or something like that in the basket. Other closest one was £155, rest were under £100, but if you DOUBLE pick any item then it require signature. Not sure if this will help you in future orders/ se RE: Amazon - Legit Return Question - mothered - 11-26-2020 (11-25-2020, 08:06 PM)Roadman Wrote: You don't really need to speak with them.
