GoDaddy Tricked, Crypto Services Down - Oni - 11-23-2020 Unsurprisingly, GoDaddy is still one of the worse registrars to use. No money was lost, though some services were down for an extended period of time. It sounds like this was heavily reliant on the SE aspect of the attack. They seem certain it was SEing, but not precise on exactly how. Perhaps they've neglected to include that information to the press story on purpose. That should've stated that to begin with, and not add the part about being unclear as to how It happened. As It stands, It's contradictory. That's what happens when staff are not trained In all facets of social engineering attack vectors- the consequences speak for themselves.
