Swap Apple Tv4 with Apple Tv5 - Glux007 - 11-21-2020

Hi,

Recently I’ve bought an used Apple Tv5 from Amazon. I’ve returned my older yet spotless Applt Tv which looks nearly identical and packaged it identically. I’ve returned it but I’ve got a mail stating the object is not the same. I’ve replied that I didn’t open it ofc. Any steps I can take in advance to let this SE succeed?

You've obviously used the sealed box method, so did you reseal the box without any signs of tampering whatsoever?

Plead Ignorance, and tell them that you've returned the box In the same manner as It was received.

For all they know, you could've purchased someone else's return, hence the different Item enclosed.

Hi Mothered, I took pictures before and after while opening the box to ensure it was the same.

how did you reseal the box?

The warehouse used Apple TV was sealed with ordinary scotch tape. So I resealed it the same way as it used to be.

you should get the refund then, just keep saying that was the item you got and you should be fine

Given It was ordered from Amazon Warehouse Deals, you've simply purchased someone else's return.
