SE'ing Protein and supplement companies - Raccoon - 10-26-2020

So far, I have tried to SE 2 companies that sell proteins supplements. In both after buying the product, and telling them about how I got sick after eating their product. they asked me to return the item, in order for them to check what was wrong with it, and give me a compensation for it, after telling them about how i throwed it away, they said that can't do nothing without getting the returned product or the lot info on the label; so i said them that got a picture of the product before throwing it away, and send them the photo they request; they did their analysis and replied to me that by their end that lot had no problem at all, so thay couldn't do nothing for me.

So what's the deal about this? Have I done something wrong? Have I been unlucky? have company restricted their policies?
Because I have read different threads where saying that the product had you sick was a good method. But since nowadays every product has a lot, and companies can check them, in order to know if there is something wrong with it, how can the "got sick after eating the product" be a good method?

Be adamant, and keep on stating how it made you feel sick. After a couple emails they will eventually offer a refund/replacement.

First of all, reading what you wrote here I have the impression that when you contacted the company you gave them too much information.

Do not talk too much, keep the conversation to the bare minimum, tell them only what is needed for them to give you what you want. Less you say, more will be the way you may change yous story to get what you want.

And if they don't give you what you were expecting, keep acting and asking why do they have to be so unwilling to help you, just like a kid who whine because wants the new toy.
It works 90% of the cases.

I've yet to fail using that approach.
