This was removed ages ago in favor of the glow effect, which looks better. The glitter effect was distracting and really didnt fit with the forum theme.

The glitter effect didn't look right. Several of our users hated it from the moment we started using it. As Skullmeat said, it has been replaced with the far nicer and classier, glow.

To be honest, the glitter effect is too dated to use now. I'm happy you liked it while it was there, but unfortunately it must remain a memory.
There's always the possibility we'll bring it back in the future, though likely for the nostalgia factor.

glittter effect doesnt suite because username font size so small that why doesnt look cool in sinister theme....
As i checked
Sinister username font size : font-size: 11px;
[redacted] font Size : font-size: 13px as well same on [redacted]
Thats why glitter look amazing there...
i noticed many time that siniter font is somewhere look small that i need to wear spec otherwise tear from my eyes..

I appreciate that you like it on other sites. However, we believe ours looks better than those sites and we really don't want to look like them in any way. There's a reason so many new users compliment our theme and layouts. Every detail of Sinisterly is carefully thought out. The glitter effect is a testament to the fads on the internet from the early 2000s-2010 and it looks incredibly outdated now. SL doesn't want to look outdated. This is also why we've updated all of our section icons, and awards over the years.
Also, I've noticed no other members have asked for the glitter effect back. If many others wanted it, then perhaps we would consider it. So far, you've been the only one, sorry.
P.S. Please stop mentioning those sites in your posts.

sinister theme is best , i always find it very simple , like no hidden tags no cool feature that all my experience here , that will i post anything and go ..i would like to see hidden tags now this should be implement as requested by many ...because we cannot guess how many really taking interest in our topic...i dont care about shortlink , i dontcare abour giltter effect , but i request for hidden code must be implemented ...

yes , if you want plugin let me know i have paid one , it has min post code as well hidden until reply . in min post if we use that code [minposts=1] [/minposts] than user will able to see content until he post 1 post atlest and in hidden one you know everywell.
