RE: Serial numbers - Pumic - 10-05-2020 Most, if not all, products will have a serial number. A serial number can give a company several pieces of information, such as exact model of your product or even place of purchase/purchase date (though not very common in my experiences) depending on how far the company goes. It also helps the company in other ways, like ensuring the same product isn't used more than once to gain a replacement. When dealing with companies like Logitech, Apple, Dell, etc. you will need a serial number for the product you want to SE.
