iPhone 11 Amazon Se - Harryler100 - 10-01-2020

So. I’ve purchased a prestine condition iphone 11 64Gb from eBay . In red. The iphone is iCloud locked so basically a brick.

I’m thinking of purchasing a brand new one but 256GB model then swapping them round and returning the iCloud locked one. What would my best approach be ? Just swapping them round and claiming it was faulty or no longer needed? Ideally don’t want them trying to turn it on to see its iCloud locked

and why don't you try to do ftid? If you do it well, you will have no problem with them looking at icloud or anything

What was the cost of the phone from eBay, and what Is the cost of the one you're planning to purchase?

I wanted to establish the profit margin of both purchases to see whether the SE Is worth It.

It's a good profit of £620. As mentioned a few times, provided the Item cannot be viewed externally without opening the box, you can use the sealed box method.

An abbreviation of "Fake Tracking ID".

Don't bother, It's flawed and has too many Inconsistencies. You can read the article on my blog for an understanding of what's Involved.

I find that In-store returns are a lot easier, particularly If you hit them at the busiest part of the day- Friday just before close of business.

They're In a rush to balance the day's takings and head home In readiness for the weekend and as such, they tend to not check their returns thoroughly.

Oh so could even try buying one from Currys then swapping and returning when they’re busy asf?

If you're referring to the sealed box method, you're returning It due to a change of mind/received as a gift or otherwise, hence you no longer need It.

The objective Is to (seemingly) return It untouched- as per Its original state, and they'll simply place It back Into stock. As such, you can replace the original Item with anything of equal size & weight.

Reckon I’ve got more chance of success if I try unopened method on a Sunday or something like 5-10 minutes before closing ?

If It's a busy environment leading to close of business, then what you've suggested will suffice.
