How thorough are Amazon regarding checking returns? - Rednaxela1 - 09-24-2020
If i purchase an item and replace it with a previous model that looks 95% the same, can i get away with it? As in, place the older model in the box and send it back? Does Amazon actually check returns in detail?

In my experience, for the most part, they didn't check but It's not to say that they won't.
You can opt for the sealed box method and If there's no signs of tampering, It will not give them reason to check the return.
