Fate/GO Smartphone Rhythm Game - Jiggly - 09-16-2020
Have you ever wanted to dance with Mash? Well now you can! There's a new, free (no-in app purchases) rhythm game released on mobile in Japan for Fate/Grand Order Waltz.
I'm quite amused by all the outfits and dances Mash does in the game - see below:

The Fate/Grand Order Waltz in the MOONLIGHT/LOSTROOM smartphone rhythm game, which celebrates the Fate/Grand Order smartphone RPG's 5th anniversary, has received a wide release in Japan. The game was initially restricted to the first 550,000 downloads when it first launched on August 10, but as of Tuesday any number of players can download it from the App Store or Google Play indefinitely. The game is free and features no in-app purchases.
As in the parent Fate/Grand Order game, you play as the Master. But instead of resolving Singularities and fighting baddies across space and time, the game revolves around dancing with your partner Mash Kyrielight. Mash is fully voiced and rendered in 3D, and she wears various outfits throughout the game.More videos of Mash dancing in other outfits can be seen here: Source

Are you sure this isnt just an AR app? If its a rhythm game, the video does a poor job of showing what it is.

After watching some gameplay videos, it actually looks pretty fun. Hopefully it gets localized, though English might not be necessary.

Everything I've read says rhythm game. When you complete levels you unlock Mash's outfits/dances. At least... that's as far as I've understood it. All three videos I watched were very similar, and didn't really show gameplay.

It's just a beatmap and tapping, with accuracy. Comparable to Osu or the Hatsune Miku games.
It's nice to see them branch out, though I'd prefer they focus on their existing game. It does look like a solid diversion, nonetheless.

Thank you for that - the gameplay looks ok. Though, I agree with you. It's a nice off-shoot but I still wish they'd make some big improvements to their current game. I really enjoy Fate:GO, but there's always room for improvement, and they still have a very active playerbase.

It's available on the Google Play store. The article doesn't mention if it's available for ios at all, so I'm not sure iPhone users will even be able to play. I'd have to dig a little more to check.
