Does anyone invest into Art? - Aeolian - 09-10-2020

Good Morning Sinister,

For a few years now I've found myself within the Art industry, at the start I barely knew a damn thing about the amount of work that's put into these pieces. After buying a few personals I dug deeper into the money that's involved with paintings and the reselling of them.

This is my most recent purchase: $335 AUD

That's a lovely piece. How was it made?

You may know more than me about investing in art. While I make art (now more than ever) I've only ever bought/acquired a few pieces. Once I'm more settled, it's certainly something I want to get into.

At the moment, I stick to prints and small items I can bring with me on travels. xD

Well that looks amazing, but honestly I find investing in art not that moneymaking. Well, there are good works but excuse me, they cost millions or thousand of dollars

I've never thought of buying art with the idea of it appreciating in value. I own a bunch of signed stuff and collectibles, though.

If you want: could you please explain to us why do you like the painting? What is the feeling that it gives to you?
