ID Verification - Pumic - 08-03-2020

What do companies typically do when they ask for an ID verification?

Do they simply keep the ID on file in case trouble arises and they need to take legal action, or do they attempt to verify that your ID isn't fake before moving forward?

Generally speaking and without any type of litigation Involved, they require IDs for verification purposes (account, Internal records etc) and to move forward with the claim.

They'll keep It on record and If need be, reference It as needed.

Keeping it on record would be no issue. The SE I'm planning just requires me to submit an ID for verification, but I want to be sure they won't fact check anything up front. Once I get past the verification it's smooth sailing.

My second (or first, really) issue is creating a fake ID that looks legitimate. I'm thinking the best approach would be to use photoshop on a real idea to edit the picture and other key information, then erase metadata so they can't tell it was ever edited.

In terms of "checking anything upfront", what exactly are you referring to?

My apologies for the fake ID talk. Didn't realize.

Hopefully my explanation doesn't dig me a hole further in that lol

By upfront, I mean that the company I'm looking at requires you to verify with an ID to create an account and use their services. As soon as you're verified, you're free to use the service, which allows you to rent high valued items from the company. If they don't do anything with your photo ID besides hold onto it in case of a theft attempt, then all should be fine because it wouldn't contain any of my own credentials to try and bill or pursue legal action.

I can't speak for every company, but If the ID Is only required for verification purposes, then that's where It stands.

There are no hard and fast rules as to the type of ID required- It varies depending on the company's protocol, and the consumer's circumstances at the time.

Well, big companies have bigger fears to risk their business somehow. Usually before engaging in the kind of company, you must go through several stages. Interview, checking if you have the ability to deploy multiple activities at the same time, your flexibility and, in most cases, large companies use Fake ID Checker for detecting if document is real and authentic, this allows them to gain more insight on how the document failed authentication. And they will keep your personal data in case something is happening, for their insurance.
