Walmart SE - nsfalpha - 07-25-2020 Hi everyone! I have been scrolling through the Social Engineering Forum for quite some time now, but have not seen many Walmart SE. I have an Xbox controller coming from Walmart so I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience in dealing with Walmart. I've seen one or two posts that spoke about a negative experience dealing with Walmart customer service. I was hoping to SE the controller for my friend by the DNA method. This thread was shared by @Filament with someone who didn't receive their package with Walmart because they were not there at the time of delivery. Walmart then didn't proceed to refund the package (a drone) worth $850. The Xbox controller I was hoping to DNA is almost $200. Anyone who has any advice or experience with SEing Walmart, please share as I believe it'll be quite beneficial since I haven't seen many SEings with Walmart. I do have experience with SE other companies and such through DNA so I understand somewhat of the process and how to proceed with it. I just wanted to hear people's opinions and experiences with SE Walmart. Please feel free to leave any type of feedback, negative or positive, I am open to all. Thank you. RE: Walmart SE - mothered - 07-25-2020 Quote:I was hoping to SE the controller for my friend by the DNA methodThe DNA Is carrier-based, hence considered a universal method that's suited to just about every company that (obviously) utilizes a carrier service. There's a few things to clarify prior to moving forward. Who's the carrier? Is a signature required on delivery? If not, are photos taken at the delivery point? If so, In what capacity? But just some advice dont tell many friends about SE because from my experience they start to ask if you can get them items for free. RE: Walmart SE - mothered - 07-26-2020 @nsfalpha, any further developments with the SE? The carrier is FedEx and it is listed as "Signature Required Upon Delivery" however I doubt that they will actually require a signature as many times in the past, they have simply dropped off the package and left. There may be a chance that photos will be taken and or the delivery man will simply sign the signature stating that I received the package. I do not believe this will hinder my SE too much as I personally have not received the item. The only concern I have at this point is that Walmart may or may not ask me to file a police report? I understand that police reports aren't too big of a deal as it is part of their companies policy, however, personally I would just want to stay away from that as much as possible considering my item is just under $200. The package is supposed to be delivered soon so I am waiting to contact them 1 or 2 days after to ask about my package. I will indeed keep you informed about the status of my SE. I have recently also seen someone performing a Walmart DNA but the total for the items was quite expensive, leading to the police report as requested from Walmart. I hope that is not the case for my package but I will indeed check upon this thread and ask for opinions and advice as the DNA proceeds. Thank you for your input and opinion, it is highly valued and helpful in providing me the best and most clear path to succeeding in this SE. I've experienced the same with FedEx on many occasions. In such circumstances, It has a very high success rate. Focus on the "probabilities" and not "possibilities". Success! Within 5 minutes of contacting Walmart, they processed a refund confirmation for me. Yes, the FedEx delivery simply dropped off the package and didn't bother to take pictures or ask for a signature which was very helpful in the SE. For most of my SE, I would wait 1 day before contacting them, would 2 days in your opinion be too long or it's perfectly fine? The reason as to why I wait a day is so the customer service reps would believe that I was not aware that the package was arriving the day listed and or an error in the carrier. That is a very wise quote and I will definitely take that into mind in not only SE's but also all parts of life. Focus on the "probabilities" and not "possibilities". Thank you for your wisdom and your knowledge, it is greatly appreciated and valued. As far as you're concerned, you've been waiting all day for the delivery to no avail. Generally speaking, any consumer who's expecting their goods (on legit grounds) without receiving them as per the delivery schedule, will get In touch with the company the next day.
