Some questions about the proxy - Green314 - 07-22-2020

I'm currently using a VPN, but I would like to use a proxy also. I know what a proxy does, I learnt it from some uni exams, but the only proxy which I used was the proxy given by my university to have access to particular websites.

I would need a single proxy (if it is sufficient) for myself, during my online activities.

Just a few questions about the proxy:
- Is it possible to have proxy for free? cracked, similar?
- Do you have some hints about its usage?
- Can you suggest me a guide or something that is worth to read about all the facets of the proxy?

Thanks and sorry for the trivial question.

there are various sites that offer free proxies ... the problem is that they can already be blacklisted ... on yt they explain a few things inherent to this however it is always better to find very competent people and be explained by them

Simply establish your VPN connection, and then use any web proxy to connect to the destination/website.

There's hundreds of proxy services on the net. For added anonymity, you can use proxy chaining, but It's of paramount Importance to configure It correctly.

How and where can I find a good proxy?
Are free proxy good?

They all encrypt & anonymize your traffic, so any free service will do. They'll only see your VPN's IP address and not your ISP.

Why not connect to the Tor network? For added anonymity, you can run two VPNs (NordVPN & ZenMate work well together). So your connection will be: VPN > VPN > Tor (Entry/Guard Node) > Middle Node > Exit Node > Website.

I am currently using this extension https://kproxy.com/. I read it's good.
As far as I read Proxy do not encrypt your traffic, VPNs do.

Yes I could use Tor but then I will probably not surf the internet. It's very slow.

I've used this quite a few times over the last 10 years or so, and It serves Its purpose well.

They do encrypt traffic:
Quote:Many (but not all) proxies use encryption. This means that it will encrypt the traffic between you and the server.

Quote:A proxy server can change your IP address, so the web server doesn’t know exactly where you are in the world. It can encrypt your data, so your data is unreadable in transit. And lastly, a proxy server can block access to certain web pages, based on IP address.

Source.

Quote:KProxy Extension encrypts the connection between your browser to your target server, making impossible to steal your data

KProxy extension.

It's certainly slower (not slow), but well worth using to significantly anonymize your connection.

I mean suitable Proxies which I can use without caring much as a do with a VPN or KProxy (extention for browser) which I turn on them and that's it, I do not care about them so much.

With https://zend2.com/ I would have to put the URL and hit the button for every website I surf.
