Honestly, It looks like it's been done in about 5 minutes. I'm still not a guru and I can't judge since I don't know all of the graphical perspectives and points of view soo, screw my opinion. I give it a 7.5/10.

Maybe the name in transparent would fit in more?

I think an outer glow does not fit in any way to an avatar. More to a signature
