EB/FTID/Dry ice after a failed DNA - durden666 - 06-24-2020 After a recent failed DNA attempt for ASOS, for £100, I'm not willing to do a pp or cc chargeback for such a low value. I want to keep the items and also feel like it's a bit suspicious to just return my stuff now. And quite frankly want to fuck ASOS as they're scum. They hit me with the following email: " Thank you for getting in touch with us again regarding your order. As we’ve confirmed with our delivery partner and the driver in question that the order was left at the property (proven in photograph), sadly we’re not able to refund you. We’ve investigated this fully with our delivery partner and the driver in question. As it’s been confirmed that your order was successfully delivered, sadly we’re not able to refund. If you have any other questions about the refund of your order, you’ll need to contact your bank. I know this is not the answer you were looking for but unfortunately this is DPD's process and they have not accepted liability for loosing the parcel. If you have any further questions or queries regarding this matter or anything else ASOS related, please do not hesitate to contact us! " So, as per title, has anyone been in this situation and succeeded? Or is it too suspicious to even try it? As I'm pretty certain there is no point pushing this further as they won't give me my refund. Literally on my doorstep, with my door half way open. That's whats in the photo. Behind the door straight away is stairs going up. No person at all is visible in the photo. Also I'm on a very busy road in downtown, and stay above a newsagents (hence the stairs). With another shop on the other side of my door. As previously, my door was ajar as I was at work and my plumber was moving stuff between his van and my place, hence left the door open for ease of access. The driver just left my parcel like that. This should work for DNA but ASOS are literally being cunts. They already sent me a very similar email denying my refund as DPD claims it was "delivered". I proceeded to send them an email to push them more before recieving the reply above in my original post. This was my email previously to them: " This is extremely poor customer service and the lack of a solution offered is unacceptable. Half of the information stated is not even accurate. Firstly yes I was not able to come to the door as I'm a key worker and I was at work at the time of which I can provide proof. Secondly my flatmate was not in the house at the time, only the plumber was present at the time (which I have informed you of previously). Furthermore, at no point did I personally receive my parcel. The only "proof" there is of my parcel being "delivered" is a photo of it lying on the door step with no person there, which the couriers driver seems to have taken. I'm assuming my plumber was moving stuff between my house and his van and kept the door open for ease of access, and your driver simply left it there and left it unattended. There isn't even a signature to prove if and who accepted the parcel. Therefore it is not right to assume it has something to do with my neighbours. I am extremely upset with the attitude of the companies involved and their lack of customer service. I have ordered from you before despitefully you saying I hadn't), but consider this a customer lost. Once again, I did not personally receive the parcel. You have failed to even provide any adequate proof of it actually being delivered to the right recipient. I look forward to seeing what solution you can provide." My objective Is that If there are no Identifiable details (In the photo) linked to your home, then It doesn't belong nor relate to your claim. I highly doubt I can get them give me my money back RE: EB/FTID/Dry ice after a failed DNA - mothered - 06-24-2020 (06-24-2020, 01:08 PM)durden666 Wrote: https://imgur.com/a/pyuOum4Thanks for providing the Image. It gives a clear Insight of the delivery point. Although It's Identified as delivered to your premises, It doesn't Indicate that It was In fact accepted by any member of the household. It's no different to the carrier placing It at the doorstep and someone just happened to steal It. Just because the door Is open, It doesn't mean that yourself or another occupant was home to receive It. If there was someone standing In the background, then that's a different story. RE: EB/FTID/Dry ice after a failed DNA - SE.UK - 06-24-2020 I've got a silly trick that works with ASOS. Get them to leave it in a hedge (hopefully you've got one like me). Reach out to them the next day saying damn - think a cat pissed on it, blame it on the delivery driver leaving it on the floor. Seems they just dont care,,, RE: EB/FTID/Dry ice after a failed DNA - Filament - 06-25-2020 (06-24-2020, 10:55 PM)durden666 Wrote:(06-24-2020, 04:03 PM)mothered Wrote:(06-24-2020, 01:08 PM)durden666 Wrote: https://imgur.com/a/pyuOum4Thanks for providing the Image. It won't hurt to request your claim be escalated, on the grounds of what's mentioned above. |
