[HELP] sell replica watches on eBay? - Charlie42 - 06-19-2020 Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone could give me advice to selling replica watches on eBay without being banned or post removed? I don't want to scam/make people believe it is a real luxury branded watch. I just want to make a few £££ selling high quality replica watches as I can get them for a decent price and could make a decent turn over if eBay didn't remove adverts. Also applies for gumtree! Thanks! RE: [HELP] sell replica watches on eBay? - scoobyeo - 06-19-2020 (06-19-2020, 04:20 PM)Charlie42 Wrote: Hey guys. There used to be a method/loophole for buying counterfeit shoes/items on eBay where you would buy them then contact eBay to let them know that you didn't know it was a counterfeit item. They will ask you to return it and you basically say that the post office doesn't allow counterfeit items shipped in the mail and they have to take your side and refund you due to their Terms of service. I would be aware people are out their looking for counterfeit items to scam I would try selling locally RE: [HELP] sell replica watches on eBay? - Charlie42 - 06-19-2020 (06-19-2020, 04:28 PM)scoobyeo Wrote:(06-19-2020, 04:20 PM)Charlie42 Wrote: Hey guys. It wasn't too long ago I seen a method on how to sell replica watches on eBay without being banned but I can't find it again. I have access to a few WhatsApp/telegram groups which are ideal for selling items in although they often require a lot of feedback to give new customers as it's full of scammers. Any advice on this is appreciated! Selling counterfeit/replica Items Is against eBay's terms. Yeah I know dude, hence the reason I was asking if there was a way around adverts being banned. Maybe with wordplay/image editing RE: [HELP] sell replica watches on eBay? - scoobyeo - 06-19-2020 (06-19-2020, 04:44 PM)Charlie42 Wrote:(06-19-2020, 04:39 PM)mothered Wrote:(06-19-2020, 04:20 PM)Charlie42 Wrote: Just wondering if anyone could give me advice to selling replica watches on eBay without being banned or post removed? There probraly is but the thing is like I said people watch for these things. I used to be in a cook chat where people would look everyday for someone selling good counterfeits on eBay, aliexpress, or dhgate receive the item and file a dispute to get it for free and basically scam the seller RE: [HELP] sell replica watches on eBay? - mothered - 06-19-2020 (06-19-2020, 04:44 PM)Charlie42 Wrote: Yeah I know dude, hence the reason I was asking if there was a way around adverts being banned. Maybe with wordplay/image editingThe Image won't play a major role In detecting an unauthorized sale. Be selective with your keywords by (obviously) not using replica. Synonymous to that, Is "reproduction" and "copy". The latter Is the better of the two. "Copy paper" Is a commodity widely sold & accepted under that description on eBay, thus you won't have a problem listing It. On the other hand, if it isn't clearly worded it's a counterfeit, the seller will lose any dispute with Paypal. The Item Is a counterfeit Irrespective of Its description, hence given It violates eBay's terms, the seller will lose the dispute. I'm exhausting all avenues to prevent further action from the buyer. Ah, wasn't aware eBay specifically disallowed counterfeits. If OP is trying to sell them (advertising as counterfeit), I feel like there must be better places to sell than eBay. |
