If you SE'd a company for an expensive item, around £2-3K and they didn't entertain the SE, are the risks greater regarding a credit card dispute because of the price, or does the higher amount not mean anything in a dispute?
What companies don't respond to a dispute? just in case i have to go down that road in the future, it'll be good to know what companies don't reply.

Performing a chargeback via your credit card provider for a 3k Item, will certainly need clarification/verification to process the refund.
If successful, the credit card provider will obtain the funds from PayPal's merchant who will then get the funds from PayPal themselves, and PayPal will grab It from the seller.
