BIG problemi with DNA - Brunto - 06-03-2020

hi everyone i have a big problem. I have used DNA several times for friends or relatives and never a problem, even for 700 euro phones. this time for a 200 euro smartphone on an account that I had never refunded I had a big problem. in practice, as always, I contacted the live chat saying it was a bla bla bla gift. open the investigation, but this time the Courier shows up at my door saying that he has received a report of non-delivery. my sister picked up the package and I spoke to the Courier saying it didn't arrive, now it's gone but I'm afraid

It can happen, just keep denying someone of your household took the phone.

It’s your word against him and Amazon knows couriers sometimes lie, if you wanna make sure to have no repercussions just return the phone and say it was a mistake.

I had the same problems once and the courier managed to get my phone number and he was constantly calling me.

Stick to your story. You've already spoke to the courier and now the hard part is done. Just wait for the investigation to finish and you'll receive your refund. Worst case scenario you can say that you sister picked it up and kept it in the garage or something and she forgot to tell you.

As I keep mentioning countless times, an Investigation Is part of company protocol to move forward with the claim. In fact, the majority result In a successful outcome.

Quote:my sister picked up the package
Did she sign the delivery?

now I have refused the refund and said I found the package. I had not signed but the Courier intimidated me and I feared for his job. is there a way to avoid coming back next time?

The Issue Isn't whether the carrier will pursue the matter by arriving at your premises, but rather the way you handle their presence.

In this case, you allowed the driver to take control of the situation, which ultimately led to a failed SE. Be confident, adamant, (most Importantly) take control and persevere with the entire SE from start to finish.

You should have stuck to the story. @Parliament was right. There's no way to avoid and predict that, it happens at times. Perhaps use DNA less or not at all?

I recall way back when I changed my story, the next day, the account was closed. Lesson learned.

As you're well aware, companies keep record of every claim- namely as a point of reference and to Identify Inconsistencies.

At work, we always refer to previous logs with every call, chat, email and return of goods.

Yeah it was an international shipment, I thought .ca and .com don't communicate, they see themselves as independent of each other, nope I was dead wrong with that return xD
