Amazon increased "security" after SE? - AreFeetShoes - 06-02-2020

Hi,

Did a successful DNA on Amazon a few months back for around 500ish and ever since then I've noticed every order I have made on my Amazon account now has extra details regarding how it was delivered. Pre DNA all items just say delivered regardless of how or what they were, post DNA every single order, again regardless of item, size, price or how it was actually delivered has an extra note saying if it was handed to me, left outside or with a neighbour, usually with a photograph from a courier attached.

Wondering if this is a new policy site wide or if this is a flag which has been applied to my account as a result of the DNA, anybody else getting this?

Due to the COVID-19 situation, Amazon are simply noting extra details on their deliveries.

Thx for this info, I guess I'll try and hold off on refunding until after the whole corona situation then

So it's not just me? Most delivery drivers act the same and just hand me things if I am there. I imagine drivers/Amazon will keep this policy after the COVID situation, seems strange to go back on it

I've also noticed similar with Uber Eats and other delivery services. Uber Eats will leave a picture of your food at the door, for example.

Yeah, for me personally I never refund on Amazon. I have the same notes on my account.

Ah man, that reminds me when I was so hunger for food and they delivered to the wrong house. Sure they took a pic of a door, but it sure as hell wasn't my door lol.
Glad I didn't rape them with SE's before.

It seems to be the case with quite a number of carriers.

At my work, DHL do not accept signatures and simply drop off packages at the doorstep of the main office. FedEx Is Inconsistent- some drivers request a signature, whilst others sign the delivery themselves.

Yes - I had a panic attack when that indian delivery driverwalker said he had to take a picture of the food on my door, maybe uber is starting to catch on with the amount of refund I had made on my address. Turns out it happens whenever we select leave by door. With this said, is it possible to make uber not give money to the delivery driver? Using my current method, the driver will still get paid, but sometimes, I just want to not pay this indian man who can't even afford a bike, and walked towards a completely wrong direction, doesn't speak chinese on call, and refused to use google maps even though I repeatedly told them that they were going east instead of west, ended up taking more than twice as long.

Why? He's trying to earn a living just like everyone else.

Targeting companies by way of SEing Is one thing, but taking It to a personal level Is unacceptable.

I've ranted about them in my previous post.
