Can a third party check if an Amazon invoice is real? - PjdeP - 05-21-2020

As mentioned in the tittle, can a company like Samsung check if an Amazon invoice is valid? Or can only Amazon check order numbers etc?

I can't speak for every company, but many manufacturers have established their order numbers, and they don't change when shipped to the supplier.

On these grounds, the manufacturer can Identify (against their goods) when a fake Invoice Is In circulation.

I have spent the past hour and a half that I could have spent sleeping creating a Currys PC World receipt that looks good because a company rejected my Amazon receipt. At this point, I'm literally done with Amazon receipts starting today. Almost never works with small companies because they can ship through Amazon blah blah and you'll occasionally get the rep who'll check for big companies. Just me going on a rant ngl but I think the cons outweigh the pros of speed and more companies at this point

To answer your question: Yes! Even if they didn't directly sell it. e.g if a seller named "john123x" is selling an Apple product on Amazon, Apple will be able to check if that's a valid order number. Had to find this one out the hard way.

I fully understand your point and frustration.

Companies are getting SEd left, right, and center and they've stepped up their claims management. What you could get away with years ago, Is predominantly not the case nowadays.
