Finally purchased a camera. - Refusal - 05-19-2020 So I have always fiddled with the idea of getting into photography, I decided to go ahead and purchase the Sony A7iii w/ the kit lens. Im searching for a great lens to go along with it. something around the $500 - $1000 range. I know ive seen some users here post about photography, so if you have any great lenses that you recommend for a beginner, please post below ![]() Picking up the camera today from Best Buy, I had a bad experience a few days back, which basically resulted in $2400 of mine being held by Best Buy, and currently in the process to getting refunded back. Thankfully im not hurting for money, and I can remake the purchase again. Nevertheless Im also looking into getting a Mavic Air 2 for drone shots, not sure yet but I have seen some really great shots, and footage from those drones. RE: Finally purchased a camera. - Drako - 05-19-2020 I've thought about photography myself. My cousin actually did photography for a while and made a decent amount of money for what she was doing. And it's great if you're traveling. You can get some really neat shots. I remember another member here who was an amazing photography. Unfortunately haven't seen him post in almost a year now. Good luck. RE: Finally purchased a camera. - mothered - 05-19-2020 My friend at work Is a mad photographer, and has recently purchased a camera worth around 2k. I'll ask him for the make & model and edit this post. RE: Finally purchased a camera. - Refusal - 05-20-2020 (05-19-2020, 07:28 PM)Drako Wrote: I've thought about photography myself. I used to never leave the house without my little second hand bridge camera. I only stopped doing this once the camera died. I discovered it cost more to fix than it was actually worth. I've not had the spare funds to ever purchase another. I'm very interested in starting up again once I have the funds. Refusal, what subject matter interests you? To be honest man I purchased this camera to shoot all sorts of photos, portriats, street, travel. etc etc. Ive been to tons of different countries and wished I had a nice camera to capture some of the sightings, and memories. Now I do. Since im already familiar with adobe Lightroom, and photoshop it fits in perfect to.
