So I fractured my left arm last week... - Skullmeat - 05-12-2020

So just a heads up... on Wednesday the 6th, I slipped and fell in a puddle in my kitchen. Earlier in the day I had moved what I thought was an empty bag of ice from the freezer. Apparently It still had a few cubes or some water, and I stupidly left it on the floor. When I went to get some milk for some cookies, I stepped square in that puddle, and fell. I came down on my left side, both my leg and my arm (I subconsciously put out my arm to break my fall.) and fractured my left elbow, and either sprained, bruised or pulled a muscle in my left leg.

The x-rays on the leg did not show any problems, but the arm, unfortunately seems to have taken the brunt of the impact. While the fracture is comparatively minor, I have limited my use of it. The worst part has been the extreme pain, particularly the leg (ironic, as it took the least damage in the fall.) so much so that I consider it to be the worst pain I've felt (worse than the removal of my wisdom teeth.)

The arm is doing much better this week, but the leg is in severe pain, so much so I can barely walk. I am for all intensive purposes, stuck at my PC. (There are worse fates, I suppose.)

If it's getting progressively worse, you should request some painkillers. I'd suggest having them (or another professional) evaluate the condition again.

i think that your leg hurts because of how you have fell, maybe one muscle got pulled causing your leg to hurt a lot. But like @Oni said, if it gets worst, you should indeed take painkillers

Im happy that your arm is much better this week, i also saw your message on the discord talking about it ^^, anyway, try to have a good time even thought you're in a quite difficult situation, maybe watch some movies or play games haha ^^.

Hopefully you heal up soon. I suspect you won't make that mistake again with the "empty" ice bag xD

I've fractured my hand when I was 19 years old, and the pain was extreme, so I know how you're feeling.

Both your arm and leg will obviously heal, but visiting your doctor on a regular basis and describing the pain In your leg, will speed up the healing process by way of treatment.
