Many RATs are outdated now. Most of the RATs that I see now are programs from more than four years ago. Most of their features still work. But, the real question should be, 'What's the best crypter in 2020?'.
Old RATs can be detected instantly without being crypted. Unfortunately, I don't know of any good crypters. But I did see one that looked promising in the 'Marketplace' section.

RATs were a highly sought-after tool around 10 years ago, but not much of a commonality nowadays.
