Linux Mint 19.x restarts when trying to login - miso - 04-28-2020

basically, i can't login at all, putting the correct password makes the OS just reload and ask me again for my password

i do not know how to fix this since im new to the Linux 'ecosystem'

PS: It doesn't really matter rn, i have like 3 files, however, i would just like to know how to avoid that problem in the future because i want to make Linux Mint my main OS

(i just need help for that, i Don't need help for anything else, thanks)

Are you "absolutely sure" you're entering the correct password?

For some reason, I didn't receive this notification.

I assume you've defined your own password? If so and prior that, were you able to login at any point?

I coudnt do anything after logging in, the OS just rrloadrd and asked me to relogin (the login dialog works fine, i think, its something after that causes it)

Did you download the OS from the official website?

Try reinstalling It. If you've done everything correctly during the Installation process and left It at Its default state, you shouldn't experience any Issues.
