Ask yourself: where do your opinions come from? - 360929396329953295 - 04-16-2020 A Simple excercise to assess the source of your beliefs. For Example, why do you want a new Iphone? Answer: Most likely due to keeping up with the crowd, and because you picture Iphones with success. its called Mirroring, advertisers show the model ' A man with an Iphone living a flashy life' Then people naturally Mirror the behaivor. But in this case, Buying an Iphone is totally unnecessary SE attempt. A $20 Android phone (Which I have) can do everything I need. Doublehop VPNs, Tor, Signal, PGP, Khan Academy, Store and Read PDFs. Ask yourself , Start with 1# "What Do I need?" Instead of "What do I want?" Do your opinions come from good sources such as your parents and wise teachers, quotes of Socrates, Plato, and Einstein? or do your opinions come from "Automatic acceptance of the social norm" which is 80% of people. Think twice, think for yourself, learn from the best, Jesus, Kevin Mitnick, your parents, world famous scientists and inventors. Once you learn 'how' your mind is made, physically, chemically, psychologically, you can learn to steel/resolves yourself against propoganda. Example: Queen, the Movie, is a Illuminati Psyop (Psychological manipulation) movie to promote: 1. Infantilization (Radio goo goo, radio ga ga) Literal baby-talk. Social Engineer Goal: To keep people immature so they dont rise to power. 2. Transgenderism (Queen, played by a gay person) Social Engineer Goal: To reduce reproduction by promoting gay ideaology and getting Aids. In my analysis, around 95%+ of Popular Media is used to Sociel Enginner the masses through Mirroring. The Media creates a scenario, and the people watching automatically mirror the behaivor. Mirroring uses Mirror Neurons, its how we learn to act like other people. Its useful for learning how to fit-in. But Hollywood abuses mirroring to create 'mancurian candidates' basically hollyweed/media creates a bad example, such a drug dealer, and promotes the idea as glamorous, cool, a mans job. When in reality, the reason the media brainwashes black people into being crack dealers is because then the police can raid and arrest all the blacks. Its a eugenics psyop. They all wear the same clothes, stoner clothing, blue crip red blood, its a engineered psyop using In-grouping to make the dealers easier to identify and arrest. Want to find a black drug dealer? Go to Compton/The Hood, talk about dope/smack and make arrests. Just as one example. I could write a video series on how Social Engineering is around us all the time. Good question. I'm a very private person, hence It's certainly not from socializing nor any form of physical Interaction. I pick & choose the Information I want to absorb, so I'd say my beliefs are formed from the cyber world Involving decades of research and online navigation that "I choose" to take on board. If you wrote a hacking bible, I would certainly buy the physical vesion. I can see it now, "Mothered's Cyber Secuity Bible 2020" 4,000 pages just on Tor, 20,000 pages on SQL injection. =) RE: Ask yourself: where do your opinions come from? - Jiggly - 04-16-2020 Very interesting post - great discussion point! However, I don't necessarily agree with everything written in the OPs post, and believe some of the comments are an oversimplification. For example, 80% of people having their opinions come from 'automatic acceptance of the social norm', seems more like an expression than an actual fact. There's no easy way to empirically "measure" where people's opinions come from. There is a vast quantity of information available to every individual, all of which has the potential to frame our opinions, or buying habits (which this thread appears more focused on). - Close friends and family (not all of them, but the ones we may think are smarter than ourselves) - Teachers, professors, co-workers in higher ranks, or those in a more authoritative position - The internet: News sites, social media, forums, adverts, entertainment, email/IM communications - Life experiences And so many more. Just because one or more of your opinions is formed from one of the above sources, that doesn't mean all of them are. Equally, your personal beliefs and opinions can come from an amalgamation of different sources. Learning to think about and evaluate your sources should be a basic skill taught in every single school. This is a personal belief derived from my teachers in high school, university, and in life experiences.
