A lot of shipping companies like FedEx and Canada Post have stopped asking for signatures due to all the Coronavirus/Covid-19 stuff going on. I was planning on SE'ing a $700 CAD monitor and saying it didn't arrive, and even if they hand it to me they probably won't ask for a signature. I'm wondering if you guys think Amazon will still require a Police report if there's no signature with the delivery.

Irrespective of no signature on delivery, a police report may still be required as part of their claims management process.
I'm not saying that It "will" happen, but rather a possibility that It may.

Here's the thing; why does it fucking matter. I see all these posts all the time it's ridiculous. No one on here is going to know, every situation is unique not even the almighty mothered is a mind reader. You should only be scared about doing a report if you've done more than one recently for the same thing. This is standard procedure for so many companies with high value items. 99% of the people that ask this it's there first time filing. Just file the report if they request it.

They'll just put it in your local post office instead of delivering it to you.

Because you can still file these online, they'll definitely still ask for them. Also, just like we are aware of the changes in signature required parcels, so too are Amazon employees. However, the way things are going, there's definitely mayhem, so I would still give it a try if I were you.

The signature deal is endgame, what happens first is if you have never claimed DNA and the item isnt too expensive Amazon doesnt give a shit and Will refund you, regardless og anything. If you have refunded and you do it again too soon they Will investigate and if tracking shows the package has been delivered they wont give a damn signature or not, and from here IT might take you a month of constant complaining. And this is basically your roadmap for the DNA method.
