Denial of Receipt Form - drdan - 03-08-2020 What do you guys make of this form I've been asked to sign? I purchased under a fake name, so the information and signature would be fake. Appreciate your insight Mothered https://imgur.com/a/8XdJMP1 RE: Denial of Receipt Form - Jerban - 03-08-2020 No big deal, its like a baby affidavit. RE: Denial of Receipt Form - mothered - 03-08-2020 It's a commonality for retail companies to Implement Loss Prevention and Security measures. The first paragraph seems to be specific to your claim, hence appears generated within the company Itself. Did you use the missing Item method? Also, who's the company In question? I used the missing item method, yes. The weight of the item is about 800g. It's worked before with the same item, different address, different name. The company is Curry's PC World. Would you personally sign said form? It doesn't seem too imposing. As well, I'd be signing with a fake name and signature. Would you say the box/packaging was tampered with? I've said the product box was empty on arrival. RE: Denial of Receipt Form - mothered - 03-08-2020 (03-08-2020, 02:17 PM)drdan Wrote: Would you say the box/packaging was tampered with? Given the Item weighs 800 grams, It will certainly be recorded on the carrier's manifest. As such, If the company compares the dispatched weight with the received weight of the package they'd both match, hence will be deemed delivered and not missing/stolen In transit. That said, they may not take the extra step to cross-reference the weight. If It were a lot lighter, I could confidently say that you'd have no Issues. It's too heavy for the missing Item method without any signs of Inconsistencies, hence It's best to say that the package appeared to be tampered with when the delivery was accepted. RE: Denial of Receipt Form - bburnsey - 03-11-2020 What item was it just out of interest? Thanks RE: Denial of Receipt Form - mothered - 03-11-2020 (03-11-2020, 07:55 AM)bburnsey Wrote: What item was it just out of interest? Thanks Judging by the OP's Image (please Include the IMEI number), I'd say It relates to a cell phone and the like. Thanks Good guess, but that was a generic portion of the form I didn't fill out. It was a medium-sized piece of tech worth 500USD or so. Successful. Went through well. Thanks for your assistance all. |
