Cashapp - Harryler100 - 02-19-2020 Hey I’ve never used Cashapp before but just wondering when selling online. Are people able to dispute ? And is it enonymous? I don’t need it to be enonymous but just wondering RE: Cashapp - mothered - 02-19-2020 Quote:And is it enonymous?Do you mean "anonymous?". I haven't personally experienced Cash App, so I can't comment on your concern. RE: Cashapp - zorrophreak - 02-23-2020 Cash is a pretty okay service, its much closer to PayPal friends and family. As for chargebacks I'm sure it is possible. I do know there are some scams where people will send money they don't have and have it sent back and the recipient will lose money (common bank fraud scam) so really it would just be whether you're okay with the risk, and the amount of money being used. On a person to person level it is anonymous but Cash almost always requires your SSN, at least for US users. Judging by this, It appears to work similar to PayPal. As for chargebacks I'm sure it is possible. Note that that is specific to purchases made with the Cash App card which Cash App is not reliant on and rather an optional feature. The proper way to cancel a transaction is listed here and it states that most transfers can't be cancelled unless refunded by the recipient. Of course support could probably solve this in a case of fraud but yeah.
