Is it ok to bring SE'd item for repair? - unkindworld10 - 02-16-2020
I SE'ed a Macbook for Bestbuy but have since cracked the screen and was thinking of bringing it to Apple for repair because I know it voids the warranty if you bring it to a third party. I was wondering if Apple will have any way of knowing that I SE'ed the laptop and therefore won't fix it?

Only way they can really know is if the product is blocked from Apple meaning that the item wouldn't work in the first place. You're fine.
