Food/Supplement SE question - moneymaker6660 - 02-07-2020 Hi there folks, I've been trying to SE some food supplement from some companies by saying there product had an adverse effect and I need a replacement etc. However, when they replied they were happy to send out a replacement, but only after they get my Amazon online order product number. I don't have one and I was wondering if any of you know how to get around this. RE: Food/Supplement SE question - mothered - 02-08-2020 What companies are you SEing, and what relevance Is Amazon? When I SE food Items, I deal with the company directly (solely purchased from them), hence no other entities are Involved which makes the claims process a lot easier. RE: Food/Supplement SE question - MrUknown - 02-08-2020 @moneymaker6660 How did the nintendo switch se go? I tell them that I purchased there product on Amazon and it made me sick and ill. However, they asked for the order ID to confirm I actually ordered the product. This is what I meant. Any help? Probably won't for a while now RE: Food/Supplement SE question - mothered - 02-09-2020 (02-08-2020, 03:35 PM)moneymaker6660 Wrote: Yeah that's what I've done, browsed products that I want on Amazon and contact the seller on there own site. Start over and SE a given company directly. When you start dealing with ex-amount of entities (as with this case), It complicates the SE, which Is not good practice. If that's the case they will ask for some kind of POP and that would put me back at square one.(02-08-2020, 03:35 PM)moneymaker6660 Wrote: Yeah that's what I've done, browsed products that I want on Amazon and contact the seller on there own site. Do you honestly believe that Amazon Is the only entity to SE? When SEing, you need to adapt to changes, work around the obvious, question assumptions and be prepared to take on "any" company at your disposal. I'll make this nice and simple for you. I realize you don't want to spend a dime, but SEing requires flexibility. Quote: when they replied they were happy to send out a replacement, but only after they get my Amazon online order product number. As per the above, your SE Is complete. Either purchase the Item and provide the order number/POP (and obtain the replacement), or do the following for a refund. Purchase a product "In-store" from your local supermarket, return the very same day at the service desk, and ask to speak with the manager. Tell him/her, that you're feeling extremely sick Immediately after consumption and "demand" a refund. You can take It one step further and get a doctor's certificate In support of your claim. On these grounds and In compliance with heath & safety, a refund will be Issued. I've performed this countless times throughout my 30+ years of circumventing the human firewall- all without fail. Provided you execute It effectively, refunds are given on the spot. At the worst-case scenario, they'll offer an In-store credit note. |
