Linuix Mint - Mr_waffle - 01-31-2020
I am thinking of getting linux mint..does anyone have it already? if so can you tell me the bright side and downside of it.

I'd recommend a rolling release distro like Manjaro that doesn't use aptitude as the package manager. I think you'll find something like that more useful and less clunky.

Stating the obvious, Install It on a VM and see whether It suits your computing expectations.
If not, simply delete the VHD.

Mint has a nice GUI and comes with some basic software like LIbra office etc.
Depends what you need it for really, if you're looking for a distro with hacking tools, Mint might not be the best.

I have used it for years as my "main" OS, it feels very similar to windows, but I do recommend that you try multiple distro's and find one that fits you.

I used it a little bit and it didn't feel too different from ubuntu. had more of a minimalist feeling but still came with all of the programs i needed without having to download anything.

i have been using it for a while it a good operating system very user friendly especially for windows users very fast the desktop is modern and customisable
give it a try!
