The latest Airpods but I noticed it says this:
"This product has a serial number that uniquely identifies the item. Should your order go missing before it arrives, Amazon may register the serial number with loss and theft databases to prevent fraudulent use or resale of the item."
Does this mean I can't sell them when I do the empty box method?

I've done a few SEs on a few Amazon UK accounts, how high is the success rate for the Air Pods cause I don't wanna risk it to much going wrong. I guess I can always sell them for £140 or if it goes bad (wouldn't know how it'd go wrong) just call again and get a refund?

Ofcourse you can sell them. EBay will never ask you for serial number before listing.
Nor will a private sale get them bought mate.

How much do they usually go for brand new in box? I thought £140 would be a good price? And if the empty box method fails can you get a refund from a different rep or are you forced to sell them on and take a loss?

I used to sell airpods that were acquired through a way not permitted to be discussed on this forum, for £100 brand new sealed.

Do note that every claim Is recorded/documented, and can be referenced when attempting to start a new SE for the very same order.
That said, some reps are slack and do not follow guidelines which will obviously work In your favor.
