I'm interested in SEing a high price laptop from AliExpress(AE). I don't believe I can do the empty box method as the Net Weight according to AE is almost 700g.

The DNA Is predominantly carrier-based, hence considered a universal method that works with the majority of companies. Given the nature of the Item, do expect an Investigation opened and a lengthy claims process.

Firstly, see what happens solely with the DNA. It may well work In your favor without the need for further Intervention.
If It fails, you have PayPal as a backup.

I was doing more research and I found instead a tablet that I would prefer on Banggood. Half the price. Noticed at checkout they have "Shipping Insurance" for $13 shipped by Air Parcel Register. I wonder if anyone has experience with this as the insurance says it provides a full refund if item doesn't arrive. Seems like an easy option to DNA if the claims process is easier due to the insurance.

Have a thorough read of their terms, to make sure there are no fine prints that may void their Insurance policy.

I remember seeing somebody here mention that AliExpress was an easy SE. I would go ahead and do it personally. You can always contact PayPal or return the product anyway.

Due to issues with CNY and caronavirus my items won’t be here till mid February. I’ll update once I get things rolling!
