Logitech Proof of Purchase - unkn0wn123 - 01-24-2020 How do I go about getting around PoP? I have bypassed this once saying it was a gift (via the phone) but that doesn't always work. Corrupting the files doesn't seem to bypass this step RE: Logitech Proof of Purchase - mothered - 01-24-2020 What did the SE Involve that ultimately led to their request for the POP? I couldn't provide a proof of ownership i.e a pic with the serial number and ticket number showing so I used the corrupt file trick but they seem to be persisting with that. They didn't last time but that time I got around it by saying it was a gift, last time I tried the gift I got told I have to be the legit owner even an excuse that worked before failed. This is what I got told: "Good day. Again, Logitech warranties are only valid for the original purchaser of the product, since this product has been previously registered we are unable to assist with a replacement. Please contact your retailer for further assistance." So Is It at this exact point that they're requesting a POP? Given you're using the serial number method and haven't spent a dime, I was going to suggest to purchase the exact same Item from Logitech and use that POP for this SE. They'll Issue a refund for the SEd Item (hence reimbursed for the one you've purchased), and you can then double-dip by physically visiting a retailer who sells the same Item. You obviously won't have the receipt/Invoice, but should at least be able to get an In-store credit, If not a refund. The only concern with Logitech Is the date as per their request. You can however, alter the date accordingly. They'll refund the SE Item, and you'll end up with your money back plus get to keep the Item that you've purchased. I sent a image of a faked receipt it might work I'll report how it goes. If I buy it from Logitech won't they be able check internally the date and order number and know it won't check out? I've got another serial so if I can prepare for the next attempt I should be good.(01-24-2020, 01:26 PM)unkn0wn123 Wrote:(01-24-2020, 01:20 PM)mothered Wrote: Given you're using the serial number method and haven't spent a dime, I was going to suggest to purchase the exact same Item from Logitech and use that POP for this SE.They seem to need a invoice to check and confirm the warranty, I spoke on the phone and they're asking for a receipt RE: Logitech Proof of Purchase - mothered - 01-24-2020 (01-24-2020, 01:51 PM)unkn0wn123 Wrote: Because it might not work, I'm also sadly broke at the moment. I've got another serial so if I can prepare for the next attempt I should be good. I understand your financial position. In terms of their Internal process, as mentioned In my above post, that's what my concern Is- namely the date. It can however, be altered to correspond with your SE. As such, as long as there's a valid order number (which will be the case If my method Is used), then It will appear as though It relates to the SEd Item, and not the purchase Item.
