Would this be a dumb thing to do? - Jay875 - 01-23-2020

I refunded something from instacart and they left the original store receipt. If I try to return it would that be stupid or am I just being paranoid? I'm worried it might have been reported as a missing item and reflect that in their system or something. I'd also be making this return before the 24 hour mark.

I can't speak for Instacart (haven't dealt with them as yet), but I've done something similar with "Target" a number of times via In-Store returns and all went well.

The key Is, to return the Item when they're Inundated with customers- late on a Friday just before close of business, Is well-suited. As such, they'll rush the refund without thoroughly checking their system's Inventory. If they do happen to pick It up, simply plead Ignorance.
