Another Apple question... - holio2k - 01-13-2020

I have a legit MacBook Pro order incoming. Is it possible with the receipt and serial on the Mac to do som SEing, like claiming it was doa or had some battery issues without sending the laptop back and possibly getting a replacement? I know of the wrong item received and empty box but based on my past experience it’s harder now with cameras and signatures on postal offices.

You can buy a used macbook at a cheap price from ebay or something. With a blow drier exchange the SN from your new laptop into the used one. Claim you received the wrong order and send back the old macbook. Receive refund for new macbook???

I'm just saying exchange SN stickers from one laptop into the other in order to buy time once they cross check the order placed and the product received. They may not be able to do a thorough investigation and process a refund in an instant.
